I am a native Oregonian, born and raised in Portland.  My alma mater is University of Portland, where I earned degrees in Music (piano performance) and Electrical Engineering (computer track).  After working for Intel for 20 years, I switched from hardware engineering to full-time musician (and part-time freelance software engineer).

In 1997 I gave my senior recital and many of my engineering professors were in attendance.  Some say engineering/math and music go together.  This is definitely true!  At Intel, I accompanied the "Intel Singers" for about 10 years.
